Join us!

We meet at the GL3 Hub in Churchdown every Wednesday evening. The last Wednesday of the month is a club fight night consisting of one round of poules so fencers can gain tournament experience. Every year we also run the GAFU (Gloucester Amateur Fencing Union) Foil Competition and the Michael Compton Junior Foil Competition.

Times
6.00pm-7.00pm – U10 juniors (7 to 10 year olds)
7.00pm-8.00pm – 10-14 juniors
8.00pm-10.00pm – Over 14 & adults (14 on the 1st January, otherwise count as U14).

Weekly Session Fee
£8.00 – Senior Fencers
£7.00 – Juniors and Full-Time Students

You can pay on the door with cash or bank transfer.

Note : All club members are also encouraged to join Fencing’s National Governing Body (NGB), British Fencing through the relevant home country. This is for personal insurance purposes while fencing, as the club insurance through British Fencing does not cover individual fencers.
